Hello! My name is Bethany Seib. I'm an artist who loves roller skating and hula-hooping. When I was younger, I was a competitive artistic skater. Although I loved competing, my interests eventually led me in new directions.
While in college, I started hula-hooping with a group of friends. We spent our summers learning new tricks together. As I studied visual art, I also began making and selling hula-hoops while performing and teaching during the summer. Over time, I started selling hoops on the side and dancing at festivals. Eventually, people began hiring me for gigs, turning my hobby into a side career.
After getting my hands on a pair of roller skates again, I rekindled my love for skating. I started combining both skills, creating what I call HoOp Skating. What began as a fun hobby evolved into a unique form of artistic expression. I love exploring the endless possibilities of roller skating and hula-hooping, always pushing myself to learn new tricks and movements.
Not only is this a fantastic workout for my body, but it's also my mental therapy. I highly recommend both skating and hula-hooping!
